@timeon
What did he explain for me? And how does this contradicts or counter anything that I previously said?
timeon
Numan, then just listen to Medvedev, he explained it for you.
It is good that young talents (well, Karatsev is not that young, and he got a bit lucky with Dimitrov getting injured) are doing well, and Medvedev and Rublev, if they stay hungry and injury free, will win grand slams in the near future, maybe even this time? Djoko is not in full form, Nadal is not on his favorite surface, Thiem is out, Zverev was kicked out by Djoko, so they have a good chance.

@TheOriginalWing
It seems like you have nothing "uniquely unique" to say!
The Original Wing
If you really need an explanation as to why Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic are special, then this conversation isn't worth continuing.
Numan
OK, then. Really?! Please do tell!
Mocheake
This is not even news. Russians have won in the past and the men are in a good position now, especially with them being young and the big three getting long in the tooth. So...another Slam win is highly likely.

LOL! You just agreed with me twice. HA! You do not even understand the point that you are trying to make.
LOGIC!
What sport that you know only relies on athleticism and not technique?
The Original Wing
Utter nonsense. First of all, the most athletic men in the world have never played tennis, so this generation shouldn't be anything different. Second of all, unlike many other sports, athleticism isn't the prime determiner for success in tennis - technique is far more important. Third of all, today's generation's top tier is uniquely unique, and their reign speaks to their historic greatness, not the lack of competition.
Numan
The most athletic men in the world do not play tennis. Thus, the top tier men's tennis players have enjoyed such a long rein at the top. The same will be true for the next generation. The women's side is more competitive because very few sports pay women as well as tennis.
