All the away teams won; no home-field advantage

It is amazing to see what the coach Carroll has accomplished during his tenure in Seattle. Haters can hate but the results speak for themselves... Cocky? If I were a player, I'd prefer him over Belichick.

Aaron has his swagger back. Packers will win.

God I hate the Seahawks.

Cannot stand Bellicheck

Why? Because he beat the Cowbabys? Who hasn't?

@FB,

The Boys are a mess. A top ranked non-Yankee college team could beat them.

I've been a Texans fan since the Oilers relocated to Tennessee. Houston needs to hire a solid quarterback in the offseason. Brian Hoyer should be reassigned to carry the spit bucket for the waterboys. I say give Johnny Football a shot. The fans would welcome a home grown, Texas A&M product calling the plays.

The way-below freezing -21C temp at Minnesota should be home-field advantage

As a former Seattleite, I just hope the Seahawks don't get to the SuperBowl only to have Carol make another one of the dumbest calls in football - that cost them the game.

@Makaha - You are right. He has accomplished a lot, really a lot. But when you do a great job of getting to the final play and you blow it - that just cancels out all of your good efforts you've made previously. It was a Very important 'mistake' he made on that call - there is no getting around it.

Cannot wait to watch the Seahawks travel across the country only to lose to the Panthers. It will be a great day here deep in the heart of Texas. . . .

@Wc,

Yeah, knew we were a long shot, but a 30-0 shutout at home? Embarrassing. Do not see the Chiefs getting past New England in their house, though. Cannot stand Bellicheck, but he does figure out how to win the games that count.

For the Redskins, it was a bad time for Rodgers to remember why he was making that big paycheck. Ah well. For the Redskins it was a season that exceeded EVERYONE'S expectations in a "building year". With as many pundits as there were predicting the Redskins to end up at the bottom of the league standings at the beginning of this season, the season can only be regarded as a definite success. Time to build some more and correct some more deficiencies. #HTTR

@FB - Johnny Football is too busy being Johnny Drama !

@kurobune,

He just wants out of Cleveland (who could blame him). He needs to come back home and play here again in Texas.

Ooooohhh, my! To quote Jim Nance; "This has got to go down as one of the WORST DEFEATS EVER!" A disgusting performance by the Bengals and their redneck fans who cheered injured players. WHO DEY? DEY LOSERS!

@FB,

Manziel earned that nickname after being the first freshman in NCAA history to win the Heisman Trophy.

Anyway, with a record of 3-13 this season, the Browns proved that as a team they do not have 60 minutes of football in them. Manziel needs to be on a contender like the Texans to show the NFL world just how good he really is. Of course, being an Aggie is just icing on the cake. . . .

All the away teams won; no home-field advantage

Same won't hold true for next weekend. Expect a lot of those "home field" teams to kick some butt on those visiting teams. The Packers were murdered in AZ recently. I just hope they don't lose too badly this time around.

only to have Carol make another one of the dumbest calls in football - that cost them the game.

Heh- that ball should've been handed off to M. Lynch. That was prob the "worst" coaching mistakes ever. . . . And people blame NE Pats for "deflating" a football. Excuses~excuses.

Haters can hate but the results speak for themselves... Cocky?

Yes, COCKY!! Big time. Those foools- Seahawks "had" the "REPEAT" Superbowl. Pete is an idiot. Straight out-

Never give Tom Brady a second chance. You'll regret it.

@Texas. Tough luck last wkend huh. Ohwell, there's always next season.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

but a 30-0 shutout at home?

Yeah, what a blow to the fans. Last game, at home, in the play-off hunt and unable to put up points.

You really think Johnny Football (stupid name) is that good?

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Looks like GB might win Redskins. Up by 14 w/ 9min left. But they might get murdered again in AZ.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

LoL @clamenza.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

The Packers are always in the postseason. And they usually win their Div. I had a feeling they were going to spank the redskins. But AZ, gave the pack a bigger spanking recently. I'd like it, but I really don't see gb coming away from AZ with a win.

God I hate the Seahawks.

Me too. I hate Pete Carol. He's too cocky, but in a nerdy way. The Seahawks pose areal threat to any team in the post-season though, despite their weak start of this season.
