Already too late, Seattle should consider "removing" Ichiro.

Yep, slap hitting for OBP is all good and dandy but he is more than capable of hitting for power. Too late Seattle, this bird is flying East to try and get a ring.

Ichiro gets many infield hits. He's too fast to throw out at first. However, if there is a runner on first base, a lot of those Ichiro "hits" can be easily tossed for a force-out at second base. So if he is moved lower in the lineup, he'll have to concentrate on getting all his hits out of the outfield if there is a force-out possibility on the base paths. He is a good bunter, so perhaps he would do better in moving a runner up instead of going for a hit.
Seattle needs some power hitters. Just hope some of those young guys develop into sluggers. But by the time they do, they are ready to move on to another team, which they usually do.
