Ohtani's arrival leads Angels into a fascinating year

Trout is most popular. On seats fans show Fish picture. Then pujol's homerun comes often. For many seasons, there was no Japanese players. Dodgers always swiped Japanese players.

And what reasons are those, Toshiko, besides being more often than not far overpriced and unable to deliver?

This guy hasn't done anything yet and MLB is the real proving ground for players. Just look at most of the Japanese players who have gone there. Most were average at best. Quite a few were bad. The Angels have the best player (Trout) one who used to be one of the best but is currently one of the worst (Pujols) and a whole host of what ifs and maybes, Ohtani included, and their lineup is far from 'stacked.' Since Ohtani didn't want to play for the Yankees, I can't wait for the Baby Bombers to drop bombs on him.

The guy is not going to make the opening day roster.  Going to the minor leagues for sure.   Has given up 17 runs on 18 hits in 8 1/3 innings.  3 for 28 at the plate.  Nothing fascinating about that.

Autry was hesitant saying Oraange Coounty people will not come. Disney said they will come like they come to Deisneyland. Lands were cheap in Anaheim and Autry created Anaheim Angels. Very profitable but can't compete against Dodgers money. It has large studio but can't compete 6.000 seats Dodgers stadium income. Mike Scioooocia used tobe Dodgers catcher. We used to be fans of both team but after Mike became Angels mgr, more Angels fan now.

Ohtani will be in triple A.

In USA, National found a talented player in which school in Nevada. National promised him to get in touch when he graduated Univ. Then this boy graduated HS, entered Nevada StateUniv, studied with older student, graduated top and calllled National, became player. In Nevada his Univ classmates found they were studying with a child. He is in National Home run is his speciality. Brice Harper. Otherwise, either Uiv grad, or old enough..

Ohtani hasn't practiced bullpen duty yet.

Ohtani is struggling in spring training

Some may even consider sending him first to the minors when the season starts, to sort out his deficiencies and gain confidence. Also, by delaying him to the majors for a couple of months, the Angels would gain an extra year of control of his rookie contract

He will be assigned to triple A.. Contract is very good for him. He may miss snow.

Nothing changes the fact that already Ohtani is being demoted because he was, as have been many (not all!) Japanese players that were super-hyped, overpaid and overblown. He's washed out already, and I have no doubt the Angels regret recruiting him. He'll be back in Japan soon.

Trout is young and Trout became Outani's first friend in Angels. Nobody is regretting having a Japanese or SouthAmerican players in any team. Mike was the catcher at Fernand boom era. MLB teams do not discriminate players.

He was not demoted. He played in games in cactus league.

These spring training games, Trout, Pujols also played. No one said Trout is demoted or Pujols is demoted. Ditto with Ohtani.

You know, I have to give you credit; it's quite admirable you go out of your way to type things out in a second language, and think critically in it as well. That said, it's quite clear when you are flustered, because your post makes no sense. Who's Mike? Richard? Fernand? and "Outani" (would be pronounced "out tani" -- maybe you know that he is "out"?)? Also, the staccato posts that follow do nothing to alleviate that. You have defended Ohtani tooth and nail, and now that he's pretty much the lead in giving up runs, you're frustrated. Understandable, but just admit as much.

Mike is his manager. Richard is the ace pitcher who is not healthy. He was on stretcher carried out a couple years ago but he did not get rest as Angels has been always short on starter pitcher.

When J pitcher Maeda was available Dodgers signed. Maeda Homered but he was not used. But rumor is he will pitch Dodgers on Thursday. or Friday. Angels will be against A' on Thursday, rumor.
