Nope, one Japanese player made the cut: Hiroyuki Fujita. He ended up tied for 51st with a 14 over par. Unless the article was authored by Japan Today, I doubt Fujita-san's finish would normally warrant a mention in the "wrap-up" article.

It was painful to watch Jim Furyk fall apart at the end.
