Impressive stuff, two sets down no small feat. He has the mindset of a champion, that's the key.

After the first two sets, I thought that's it, the importance of the moment took its toll on the unexperienced Sinner, and the much more experienced Medvedev will run away with the win. Then Sinner got his stuff together, started playing sensationally, and maybe Medvedev started feeling those previous 5 setters, at least in the fifth. Congrats to both, and thanks for the great battle

Watched them both playing at Wimbledon but Jannik was still up-and-coming then. His carrot-suited fans were jumping up and down in the stadium. Really glad he made this one!

And commiserations to the mighty Medvedev, a brilliant player.

Great job Sinner, was happy you won. Hope more to come from him, he's just 22 now.
