Wow...the Giants only scored 4 total runs in 4 games.

Softbank is a well-balanced team, with excellent pitching and good hitting and fielding. Unlike the Giants, who ran away with the Central League title, Lotte and Seibu challenged Softbank through much of the Pacific League season. I am wondering if Lotte and Seibu are much better than I gave them credit for. Without any interleague games this year, it is difficult to judge whether the Pacific League's best teams are all ahead of the Central League's level.

It is always nice to see the ‘’elite’ of Japan fall flat on their faces.
I think you’ll find that SoftBank are the ‘elite’ of the pacific league - buying all their rivals best players

The look on Hara-kantoku's face throughout the 4 games was priceless.

Congratulations SoftBank.

The Central League designed this season for the Giants as they only allowed the 1st place team to enter the postseason. They were a complete joke in the Japan Series. As a Hanshin fan, though I am tired of seeing Softbank win, I was laughing hard at seeing the Giants struggle.
