Cant' wait for the exciting finish to the tournament. I can't see the South Africans losing to the Pumas at home, and despite the author's opinion ("in the unlikely event of the All Blacks losing to Australia at their Eden Park fortress") nothing is guaranteed with these All Blacks.

The Aussies will be particularly motivated by the ref's completely justified decision to ping them for repeated time wasting and then not being able to defend their scrum or their try line.

C’mon springboks.

we don’t want those cheating all blacks to win

Good one. Three yellow cards (one should have been a red) to one and a higher penalty count, one for blatant time wasting, and it's the All Blacks who cheat.

It was a great near comeback, though. Eden Park's going to be a belter. Hopefully Foley will listen to the ref this time, eh.

The All Blacks didn't cheat. It was the referee.

Everything I’ve seen suggests the ref made the call by the rule book, but it didn’t follow the flow of the game and the Aussies are upset that they still haven’t got one over the All blacks. Always next year.

He made a call that has never been made in living memory at that point of the game. The kicker was actually making a step to kick when he blew the whistle. Literally changed the game on the call.

Foley wasn’t halfway out aiming for the posts. He was told again and again to get moving. The ref made a gutsy call, sure, but it was the right one.

RiskyMosaic...

Should have kicked it into touch and delayed at the lineout.

Good point. The Aussie No. 12 was also screaming at him to take the kick.

After being told to at least four times by the referee.

Well, a bit of a language barrier may not have helped... " We play." Isn't exactly a command.

In the rules, the kicker gets one minute to kick the conversion.... The ref didn't enforce this at all. They hardly ever do.
