Accident? I would call it incompetence.

I agree. He didn't even slip or anything. And he had to have seen Mane who came from the same direction the pass came from.

Liverpool win again! Set your clock to it. Great goal from the genius, Sadio Mane.

Quadruple well and truly still on! I'd settle for the treble, however.

“It is an accident," City manager Pep Guardiola said. “It happens.”

It was but I’m bot sure what else Guardiola could have said here. That keeper must have had a sleepless night. Most keepers have done something like that once or twice in their career. To do it in an FA Cup semi is a particularly bad one though. Those kind of mistakes can destroy the careers of keepers.

no love for Ronaldo

He’s still got the quality. Joint 3rd top scorer in the league. Obviously slowing down but still capable of winning games for Man U and has done this season. When you look at the other underperformers/dross/crocks they have up front, he’s still their best option.

As a Liverpool fan

I hope Urawa Reds is still your favourite team. They aren’t doing too well this season. I hope you are not jumping on bandwagons and glory-hunting here, sport ;)

Some people have a favorite team in every league. I prefer to stick with one team, especially since they could meet in UCL, etc.

Liverpool FC footballers are peaking at the right time. Hats off to Liverpool's goal scorers Frenchman Ibrahima Konaté and Senegal's Sadio Mané. Well played.

What no love for Ronaldo?

No love because he is a waste of £££. 1 good game, 5 anonymous ones. Man U would be wise to move him on to invest in younger talent - but as a Liverpool fan I hope they keep him for 3 more seasons! LOL!

Nope. Not a glory hunter. Reds fan since the 2000-1 season, the Treble year under the great Houllier. Michael Owen at his peak, and the legend Robbie Fowler coming toward the end of his Reds career. Possibly another Treble coming this year?!

Been a long time between drinks in the league for Urawa. They did with the Emperors Cup last year though.

Ouch that hurt has been simmering for a long time. I do think the answer might be cloning Sir Alex. If they can do a sheep why not him?

Good point, although not a problem supporters of my team would have to deal with.

I do admire how Bayern Munich is run as a club more than the other European giants. I don’t mind seeing them winning the Champions League.

Funny how a week makes such a difference. The PL game last Sunday was one of the best games of football I have watched, both teams performing at their peak.

The game last night, Liverpool looked at 70% of last week and Man City very lethargic. Not a classic. I am a neutral and was not particularly entertained.

What no love for Ronaldo? 50 trebles for man utd. Great achievement.
