First, I'm not in favour of political correctness, and my post is about english language usage.
Now 'stable' is for horses or other donesticated animals. A better word is needed here to describe a sumo dojo, certainly not a 'stable'

This is a bad news since diabetics are especially vulnerable to COVID complications regardless of age.

Yet business as usual for Arashio? Duh!

It's new to your source 'Cambridge', because they certainly haven't translated 'dojo' as a 'stable'.

No horseplay in that stable then. Hope they all recover.

Yeah, if you say so, but to me, it's pretty clear. No wrestling for you, don't even go near anyone who isn't providing you healthcare in a hazmat suit in a specialist ward.
Clear enough?

This kind of heavy breathing, close physical contact training is one of the easiest ways to transmit this disease unless they're wearing masks. I don't see how they can prevent transmission unless they're practicing with one on or with a robot.

Unlike sumo players, the average joe wouldn’t be able to get tested with fever and mild symptoms, unfortunately.
Regarding their health, while they are at risk, surely being celebrities they will have access to the best treatments and 24/7 monitoring, to ensure the best outcome.

This should mean the cancellation of the New Year tournament. In any case it might be the last drop to the retirement of both Yokozuna, at the end of their career they should not take the personal risk and it would be seen as serving by example to pull out instead of criticising them. The Yokozuna should set the way for all and by pulling out thy would exactly show that leadership. Hakuho has the balls for that. But if they do, the “ elders” will force them to resign.
With the mounting numbers of infection the tournament must be cancelled but the Olympic supporters can not have it.

@Sh1mon M4sada: Please mind your usage of English language and spelling too.

Living in a cramped dorm is just like getting on the 8.05 train on the Yamanote line

Size wise they're unhealthy to you but physically they're much stronger and mentally, we're all crap in this generation.

"Ten wrestlers from the stable are scheduled to compete at the New Year Grand Sumo Tournament starting Jan. 10 at Tokyo's Ryogoku Kokugikan, but it is unclear whether they will be able to take part."
Yeah... they're positive for Covid-19, the tournament is less than two weeks... it sure is a tough decision!
