He should never have been promoted to Yokozuna. The sumo association in their rush to have a "Japanese" yokozuna pushed him in to becoming one, and now they are bending all sorts of rules in their desire to keep him active.
NCIS Reruns
His prospects for any sort of recovery become fewer with each tournament he misses. Time to announce his retirement.

Better to announce it sooner than later and save him the embarrassment of losing more bouts and everyone having to make excuses for him!

Funny, none of the usual "Sumoh" fans that bragged about this guy (and got angry when I pointed out how he was rushed through to Yokozuna) have a word to say about "Sumoh" at the moment. Ah, well. More fuel to the fact that Sumo, extended vowel or not, is dead thanks to the dinosaurs who insisted it never progress and scandals never be reigned in.

@Yubaru,
Spot on.
His ambition was always greater than his talent. And maybe it was just me, but he always seemed to have an attitude.

Everyone knows Kisenosato was a poor choice for promotion. Other Yokozuna would have been forced to retire long before now. He should resign immediately
