Wow, even when so many people said they would not watch it because of TS!

8 ( +10 / -2 )

That is nothing compared to the Soccer World Cup Final with 1.5 billion even without TS.

-3 ( +7 / -10 )

Wallace, it’s like Soccer, but with actual scoring and minus the flopping/fake injuries and miraculous recoveries from said injuries.

-6 ( +5 / -11 )

Once again, the granddaddy of all sporting events doesn't fail to deliver.

-12 ( +1 / -13 )

Not bad figures.

That would probably be what…an average Premier League match?

Some of the group matches would blow this out of the water.

The european mind cant fathom this.

there are 10! stadiums in the US bigger than the biggest one in europe (something called the "New Camp" whatever that means)

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

They really have been pushing this TS thing....

Even though she battled jet lag after flying from Tokyo to Las Vegas the same day, Tay Tay can now add winning a Super Bowl to her growing list of accomplishments

I think some people though having a no-name team like the Niners in the game would push viewership down and so they threw her name out there. Wasn't needed.

She got very limited screentime and the record worldwide audience speaks for itself

Close, there are 8 stadiums in the US larger tan the biggest in Europe, the Spanish stadium "Camp Nou"

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_stadiums_by_capacity#Capacity_of_100,000_or_more

For the record the largest is in India with 132,000 capacity and the Second largest is in North Korea with 119,000 capacity.

A record 123.4 million people tuned in to watch the Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers in Sunday's Super Bowl

Is this the worldwide or just US audience?

I imagine that’s for cricket.

I saw one stat that cricket is the second most watched sport worldwide.

Definitely not a cricket fan but that’s impressive.

The US audience was 123.4 million.

You’re absolutely right, it’s nothing in comparison. But as the title states, this is the figure for only the US audience.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

The US audience was 123.4 million.

That's quite impressive, over a third of the country.

I wonder if any other country has a sporting event watched by such a large portion of the population?

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Superbowl 2022 had 115 million viewers.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

I thought it could have been a better Super Bowl with out the Half time show, Taylor Swift, and Beyonce and Jay Z spotting!!! Let the athletes have their moment! Corporate sponsors greed and hype!
