Congratulations Shingo you're a legend in the sport of tennis. But I also agree the tournament to another country where the fans would be more respectful.

Congratulations, Shingo! Unbelievable consistency. Still dominating at 37!! Definitely a legend of the sport.

Should be a household name in Japan.

China will take it sooner or later. They started marketing it as, "the GS of the Asia Pacific."

China should spend money on other things after seeing how they've been treated by WTA and the anti-Chinese rhetoric everywhere.

They really should move the 4th GS to a civilized country.

Sour grapes Rob. Another spectacular Aussie Open with great tennis being played in one of the most livable cities on the planet. You dont get more civilized than that.

The 4th GS is the US Open, so yeah, move it to a civilized country (that doesn't commit war crimes all over the world).

Well played Shingo Kunieda and Alfie Hewett. Congratulations to the champion and to the gallant challenger and runner-up.

Australia has had many tennis champions and help build the sport up over many decades. Thats why Australia has one of the four premier tournaments. That will never change. You might as well complain that they should move Mt Fuji to a new country, that also will never happen.
