I guess these thugs got to see their team lose! Buy a ticket next time guys.

Well done Italia! Class prevailed in the end. Tough for England. Need to practice their penalties more.

English fans spent the tournament booing other countries' anthems and generally behaving like drunken idiots. I'm glad their team lost.

Karma? Schadenfreude?

Booze, stupidity and patriotism. Never a good mix.

Just enjoy the football.

Typical English, no wonder they are hated by all their neighbors, especially the Celtic peoples who've had to suffer them for centuries.

Forza Italia!

Not, for example, like those pleasant well-behaved Hungarian chaps...

Think you'll find the news vendors tend to report what people want to hear.

English thugs, in England, watching the English national team, during an international travel ban pandemic? Who'd have thought.

I'm guessing you've never been to an Italian football game; Not for the fainthearted, I can assure you.

Another week, another soccer game in the UK, another fracas caused by drunken rowdies. Whether it's by opposing British teams against each other or if it's an conference championship you get these hooligans trying to spoil the fun for other fans.

Sometimes the National Front Skinhead scum cause a ruckus at these games too, and that's worse.

I actually paid the White Horse pub in the main picture a visit the previous night with my fiancé, there was already a small group of fans heavily drinking and singing songs with some less then savoury words directed towards Italy.

A "small number" of fans were able to force their way into Wembley Stadium for the Euro 2020 final on Sunday, London police said, amid scenes of violent disorder in the British capital ahead of the historic game.

How many constitute a 'small number'?

But this highlights the many perils of attending sporting events in the UK, with so much uncivilized snd violent behavior.

Social distancing was ignored as maskless supporters congregated in large groups on the concrete approach to the stadium.

More irresponsible behavior; a large part of UK society are anti-vaxxers.

In one video lasting nearly a minute and a half, a large throng of men can be seen fighting -- throwing punches and kicks, some targeting people lying on the ground -- as just a couple of stewards attempt to intervene.

Despicable violence at this international event. Embarrassing. Easy to see how such a crowd would later resort to making racist comments towards their own players. The slavery legacy lives on.

Some drunken fans were throwing beer cans and bottles as well as traffic cones, with red flares and fireworks set off.

Can bring children to any sporting event in the US, by comparison.

No unauthorised fans were able to enter the Wembley Stadium.

LOL. You may need to watch some of the youtube and twitter footage uploaded. Plenty of these thugs DID get in. Fact. Many legitimate ticket holders were scared to take their seats because hooligans were already sat in them. I'd recommend checking the BBC for more information.
