TOKYO 2020 appoints Dentsu as its marketing agency

The Tokyo Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games on Thursday announced that the Tokyo 2020 Executive Board has appointed Dentsu Inc as its marketing agency.

TOKYO 2020 has established a revenue target of 150 billion yen to be generated from domestic marketing programs. Dentsu will advise and assist the organizing committee on the formulation of the Games Marketing Plan and commercial strategies as well as providing support for sponsorship sales, servicing and the licensing program.

Dentsu will earn plenty of ad income from Japan Inc. to Japanese Govt. Not tax payers money. Every large corporation is lining up now. Nintendo, corporations Mitsui owns, Nissan, Mazda, Honda, etc. Not Bridgestone as it has to pay large fines to US Govt. So, expect jerseyboy;s prediction comes true.
