Kohei Uchimura’s Olympic career is over.

That is sad news, He was wonderful to watch perform, mixing strength and grace.

While I will never have a good thing to say about these games unless the plug is pulled on them halfway, this is a shame. Uchimura is one of the good guys and a credit to his sport and country.

I’m very sad not to be able to see his play in this Olympic.

But he did his best.

He was in like God’s territory as a gymnast for a long time. He’s an all-round player. I remember even Chinese gymnasts, strongest team in the world, gave up catching up his score and beating his beautiful performances at other Olympic

I wish next new wonderful Japanese athletes appears.

You can't win them all. He's done more for the sport than most, and more than all Japanese that preceded him. He deserves a rest.

What's Russia doing on the medals table?

Yes, also here they have maneuvered themselves into a little dilemma. If they correctly would write ROC for Russian Olympic committee, then surely will some complaints arise, stating that this is misunderstood for Taiwan, Republic of China. But anyway, who really cares?

I can't say I recall ever hearing anything about Uchimura. Is he really famous in Japan?

Yes. He is famous and well liked and respected.

Also, extremely good in his field.

considered to be the greatest men's gymnast of all time

BS! Far from that, get your facts right.

He pulled himself up and completed his routine, sticking his dismount.

Respect and gold medal for that.
