And with those wins, China is momentarily at the top of the medal tables again no matter whether you use the American method of counting medals, or the international method, as used by the rest of the universe.

But yeah, well done to all three medalists. I think just watching the performances can make you nervous. Definitely a scary event.

Well done to the Chinese team.

I guess Biles found her magic mental issues-curing pills.

Okay, well that’s something good. Congratulations!

A fond ‘farewell’ for Simone Biles.

“Congratulations!” to ‘the Athletes’ from China on their total number of medals to equal their American counterparts:

“That was good enough for bronze behind the Chinese duo of gold medalist Guan Chenchen (14.633) and Tang Xijing (14.233).” -

Biles has stated that she has “the twisters” AND has a mental health problem. But these are not the same thing. If she has a mental health issue she never should have been on the Olympic team. Biles needs to come clean as she has denied a spot in the team for someone that was able to participate - all so she could virtue signal and build her marketability.

Congratulations to the chinese team.

China is winning for 10 golds and surely will surpass amount of total medals..

And if the US don't do something about it Japan is only three golds away and karate is coming !! ..

You Aussies are breathing down Japan’s neck too!

Olympic all-around champion Sunisa Lee of the United States finished fifth. The 18-year-old Lee won three medals in Tokyo, including silver in the team final and bronze on uneven bars.

Biles who? She could've skipped this event, too. Sunise Lee is our new goddess.

Swimming's over.

Biles came down to her senses? Or she was told to 'behave' .....

Biles came through, persevered, and won a bronze medal despite her issues - isn't that what people were asking of her?

But she fought through it and achieved a medal. That is the can-do attitude and success under pressure that America fosters among its people and brings out the country’s greatness.

And now she's added to her impressive 32 Olympic and World Championship medals (including 23 golds) - the most ever (the only one even close is the Russian Khorkina with 27 Olympic and World Championship medals - and it took her 11 years of competing)

Best to hang up the leotards and let some new persons have a chance.

Let them all compete and see if they can beat Biles and earn their place thru merit

Comăneci has been and will be the greatest forever !!..

Lol, her and her paltry 13 Olympic and World Championship medals (including just 7 golds, barely over half her total medals). Biles also has broken more World Records than Comaneci ever did

Btw, did ya guys also know that Comaneci NEVER won an World Championship All-Around gold? Yeah, in all the years she's competed, she NEVER won a single World Championships All-Around gold. Her only global All-Around gold was in the 1976 Olympics. That's it. That's the one and only one.

While Biles, in addition to the 2016 Olympics All-Around gold, she's won World Championship All-Around gold in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018, and 2019 (she took a sabbatical and didn't compete in 2017). That means she was undefeated All-Around champion from 2013 to 2019 (there was no 2020 due to Covid)

One can't be the Best Ever if you're All-Around champion only one time. Comaneci was the world's best gymnast that 1 year of the Olympics. In other years, she was defeated so many times - there were better All-Around gymnasts than her in all those other years. In other words, she's lost more global All-Around events than she's won (just 1)

Ya guys can't even retort that

Biles who? She could've skipped this event, too. Sunise Lee is our new goddess.

We'll see, if Biles sticks around, and they compete against each other and who comes out on top

Biles came down to her senses? Or she was told to 'behave' .....

The Beam routine doesn't need many aerial twists, so she didn't have to worry about the twisties

@snowymountainhell

DID THEY CHEAT?? LOL WE DON't KNOW, there is always a WILL so I won't count that out!!!

I completely agree, I think you could definitely see in her eyes the vindication she felt after pulling this off. I feel for her, but also I think at this point she really has nothing left to prove and I wouldn't be surprised if she retires after these games, she's already 24 which is getting up there in gymnastic years, and let's face it, her heart isn't really into it as much as it was a few years go. I am happy that she proved that America still has it and can achieve a lot with so much greatness with pride and fortitude.
