Well done, such good sportsmanship between the two fighters. Watch and learn Aliev (DQed French boxer).

Nesthy Petecio does not look happy at all, but well done to Sena Irie.

Congratulations Miss Irie! What a delightful young lady and champion. She was beaming on her way to the ring. And the Philippines should be proud as Ms Petecio was very gracious and happy for Irie in defeat.

That photo recalls ABC’s “Wide World of Sports” intro from Jim McKay: “the thrill of Victory! … and, the agony of defeat”.

Yes, well done indeed. Tottori will be uber proud of their Golden Girl!!!
(She certainly didn't 'sweep aside' her opponent. Nesthy fought really well, and there was an awful moment as we waited to hear the results. Could have gone either way.)

Congratulations for making the history for the Japanese Women's boxing, Irie!

Saw the match. Was so exciting. Irie was so hyper before even starting the match. She kept jumping to hype herself up. My wife was cheering her all the way. Congratulation for winning!

I thought the Filipina won rounds 2 and 3.

Close fight could have gone either way. The golden rule in boxing when fighting a local you don't stand a chance when you don't knock them out or beat them mercilessly.

Joselito Asi.....
So did I. The Filipina also looks like she could make Flyweight without too much trouble.
