Norway vs Russia for the beach volleyball gold.... Seems like a joke. I think Russia has some beaches on the Black Sea, Crimea and Kaliningrad. No such luck for Norway.

They might have a few at the end of fjords where one can enjoy the beach with seals and iceburgs just offshore.
