Both Black-american brothers Willis and Arnold Jackson were leading contenders in a variety of swimming events but, not sure if they’re still eligible to compete. (What a truly diverse family of athletes! Step-sister Kimberly was also a leading figure skater, having trained with Olympic Gold-medalist Dorothy Hamill!)

Despite overcoming both racial & economic obstacles in the world of sports, the family of swimmers have instigated ‘their own’ discrimination issues, most notably, a ‘sexism’ controversy. Transgender athletes may seek diversified Gold in the gender of ‘their choice’. In that spirit, Kimberly also tried out for the young men’s team yet, the swim coach vehemently opposed the challenge in an open forum. (Surprisingly, one of the leaders of the opposition against her was none other than, ‘one of her own brothers’.) Unfortunately, a physical confrontation erupted, in which the coach blatantly exaggerated being ‘pushed’ into the competition pool. Since then, the training facility unfairly sided with the coach and the majority of the team and the sister was suspended.
This is 2021! What is going on in the ‘world of sports’?
