There have been three suspicious deaths in Hong Kong related to Sinovac, although two of the people did have underlying conditions. This has put HKers off. The good thing is that they have a choice of which vaccine to take - and I don't think many opted or will opt for Sinovac which, I think, as an efficacy of 50%. The CE, Lam Cheng Yuet Ngoh had no choice but to have the Sinovac shot in public and HK had to include Sinovac to save face.

Additionally, should be noted that if the vaccines being offered are Sinovac (made in China), I'd personally pass.
