I don't know when the Italians got so much nitrous in their legs but they took the 100 and blew by everyone on that last leg of the 4x4!

Why no mention of the Japanese men’s relay team having a nightmare with the baton?

I reckon the second guy went away too quickly and that’s why he couldn’t get the baton in time…..well unlucky that.

That is exactly what happened. They had tape on the track to mark the point they start their run. Yamagata, the second runner took off about 2 meters too soon.

The disappointment was too much considering the pre-race hype of winning gold or at worst a medal as the media has being hyping them to be the best a baton exchange in the world. Don't count your chicks before the eggs hatch. I guess, the media here never learns even after dropped the baton in Doha world Champoinship
