Why not then, you know, vaccinate other groups of young people? Just pick a random young group, vaccinate them. Surely wouldn't affect any other distribution, not like there's much to affect.

It is not the practical affect of a thousand shots or so but lack of morality to give preference for a completely irresponsible event.

What is it exactly, that gives these Olympians priority over the general populace?
Setting new records?
Satisfaction from pushing the limits?
Olympian "spirit"?
Bringing home some shiny medals?
Whatever the reason(s), it shouldn't be at the expense of us "plebeians," waiting for the vaccines to reach us.

Ya think?
That could have been about 200 medical workers or elderly people.
Then why isn't that organisation being roped in to work to get key workers, the elderly and the vulnerable vaccinated first?
Sheer bloodyminded TheGamesMustGoOnRegardlessism.
And, could it be, a desire by Suga and Co to totally throw the next general election?
