What heat? The JIOC said that Japan had cool summer days in August, the perfect weather to hold the Olympics!

Yeah, what extreme heat? It's just mild. Perfect to bring out of the best in your performance!

Could they not start at dawn and finish by mid-morning? There is no longer a need to delay events to late morning in order to allow the hordes of fans and the volunteers to manage them to arrive by public transportation. And women's golf isn't likely to be critical to the American network's scheduled lineup.
