NBC wonders: Where are the Olympic viewers this year?

NBC's attempt to push everyone to web-streaming seems to have failed too. On the first day, they had 2-5 minute clips with a countdown timer in the corner which showed when the free access would end.

We've switched almost all our Olympic viewing to on-demand stuff using a VPN to connect to broadcasters in other countries with online coverage that is much easier to use. No feeling of being nickle and dimed for payments.

“Pathetic”(their oft-used word) that ‘some’ continue to really ‘believe’ a country “wins” the Olympics, when it is the individuals or, a team that ‘wins the medals’.

Like the Gollum character in *LOTR *now streaming as an alternative to watching NBC’s Olympic coverage, we can ‘both pity and loathe them’, at same time.

The clowns of the US media count the medals so that they can put the US on their medal table like first place, they cannot bear that China is doing better and is going to win the Olympics..

You should know Olympic history - the US has always counted medals that way, even during the days when the Soviet Union had less golds but more medals than the US

They've always prided in getting as many of their athletes into as many sports as possible, even in sports where they aren't competitive but only hope to make it to the podium - a podium finish wherever it is worth celebrating. That's why they're almost always the biggest delegation in every Olympics
