Anyone earning over $250K/yr related to sports should be barred from competing in the Olympics.

Anyone earning over $250K/yr related to sports should be barred from competing in the Olympics

... Why?

The money driver taints all sports in a negative way. For the athletes, the Olympics is not about money.

I want all professional athletes banned from the Olympics. People paid full time to do a sport have a huge advantage over anyone who isn't paid full-time.

Paid athletes already have a venue to show their talent AND they get paid for it.

Some athletes will just try to cheat - getting money ("sponsorships") under the board while pretending to not be earning more than $250k

Secretive states that put too much emphasis on winning sports medals to raise their esteem (like China and North Korea) will pretend not to be paying their athletes, while supporting their families with lavish lifestyles

There's too much loopholes to enforce
