Congratulations to Risako Kawai on HER Gold medal!

As a twin, it’s really exciting to see so many of Japan’s siblings getting medals! Seems like a genuine love and support for each other.

At 86 kg, American David Taylor had a stunning 4-3 come-from-behind final win over Iran's Hassan Yazdani, the Rio Games champion at 74 kg, the 2018 world champion tackling the legs of his opponent to snatch the gold in the dying seconds of the bout.

A nail-biting win!

It seems her relationship with her sibling is not so idilic, it was mentioned on NHK they were not on really good terms.

These japanese wreslers are really the gold standard from Japan.

They deserve much more respect, and the japanese government should dedicate more funding in wrestling, one of the noblest combat arts.
