Congratulations Brooks Koepka. Admire your strength and finesse.

Koepka has 1 regular tour win (Phoenix Open) and 2 US Open wins - he has more Major victories than regular tour victory, lol

Saturday was brutal - it played like 2 different golf courses. The USGA set up the course and the pin placements as if the watered greens would last the whole day. They didn't learn from 2004 that a golf course built on sand next to the stiff sea breeze would dry up the course rather quickly. By the afternoon, those pin placements had no business being on dry upside-down bowls they call a green. (Do ya blame Phil Mickelson for choosing the penalty for hitting a moving ball than letting his putt roll all the way off the green?)

No one took advantage like Tommy Fleetwood, who made eight birdies — none of the two par 5s — and became the sixth player to shoot 63 in the U.S. Open. That got him within one shot of Koepka, who still had 11 holes to play.

Little did he know hours later after he finished, that misread of the makable putt on the final hole not only caused Fleetwood the sole US Open scoring record but also a tie for the playoff to win the US Open - he must be kicking himself, lol
