Good for him. Free from Giants tyrannical management which has attempted to thwart him and given him an unimpressive resume over the last 2 years. Now he can achieve his life long dream. Good the Orioles saw through Giants BS.

Must be a happy guy. After all the crxp over the last couple of years with the Giants basically shoving his market value in the crxpper, I wish Uehara ever success.

Good, NPB is reducing its liabilities.

Salaries are ridiculous. I cannot support sports like that.

TV programme on the other night with that idiot Kyojin fan Nakai from SMAP. He had Giants players on doing comedy impersonations of other players and guess what ? All the players they were mimicking/ making fun of were Hanshin players, foreign players for Yomiuri (Ramirez, who happens to be their greatest asset) and guess who ? Yep, Uehara. Isn't it about time that Japanese baseball lost it's chip on it's shoulder about Japanese players leaving and going to the majors ?
What, by losing a good pitcher like Uehara and handing the WBC job to idiot Hara ? Yeah, right.

I totally agree.

Sounds like a good contract. Oriole organization will be nice for Uehara for beginning MLB experience.

Uehara has been TERRIBLE the past few seasons. The reaosn why ueahara left is because Giants wanted to use him as mid relief. He only wants to be a starter again and and a new start in MLB.

I feel bad for the guy. The Orioles are barely an MLB team these days. Only the Royals are more of a dysfunctional embarrassment.

Hey dont forget my beloved Cubs. Nyuk, nyuk.
They can't, they're too jealous its not them playing. Jealous of playing for real teams that don't need to be owned by corporations to stay alive. Good luck to Uehara he plays very well, and perhaps he can be of great help getting the Os out of their slump. Not much for my Cubs, but there's always next year.
