After making the QF last time, the aim is certainly for the Brave Blossoms to make the Semi in '23 and see what happens from there. Any team that doesn't take them seriously will pay the price!

In 2019 they had the benefit of training together for a whole year. They no longer have this advantage. They also seem keen to play a number of players well past their sell by dates. To progress from the pool stage they will need to beat England and or Argentina. Samoa will also be a big hurdle for them. I think they will be coming home before the knockout stage.
