For decades sport has been used by populist idiots as an amplificator of division, racism and toxic nationalism.

If they want to prohibit kneeing they must prohibit singing the anthem with the hand on the heart, which is much more politically charged.

If they're good enough to make it to the Olympics

Athletes are humans too with their own aspirations and passions

For decades athletes have had reasons to protest that were much more valid than the current ones backed by a Marxist communist agenda.

If they remove the ban, we can expect a surge in anti-Israel and anti-US protests.

Well, we know what's going to happen. Everyone will be taking knees, fisting, speechifying, whatever, over their various "causes". Even those who have no interest will be doing it anyway because it'll be career suicide not to. LIke as has happened to award ceremonies in the entertainment industry, everyone will have a "cause" and a speech to signal their phoney virtue.
