Rui Hachimura doesn't seem to garner any attention in Japan. He is about to make history by becoming the first Japanese national drafted in the first round of the NBA draft. He is expected to be a top 5 pick. Playing college ball in America has really helped him become an amazing player and a star. I remember his interview talking about his challenges of adjusting to an American game and now he has become a leader that can potentially carry a team.

I don't know if his current style of play will work with the Japan team, but he will still be an asset.
