U.S. to let MLB stars play for Cuba in World Baseball Classic

What this allow or let Cubans represent Cuba?? Are the people slaves ? Does the IS sorry I mean US government owns a person life? It is a bit rude to play politics with sport. Or is it the issue that the Cubans will flog their backside . I fear it is this why the issue was ever brought forth.
