Times have changed and now lots of countries have players who actually play in the NBA. Not a lot of pushovers out there. The team needs the top NBA American players in order to be highly competitive and bring back the gold to its rightful home.

Australia, Serbia and France were tough teams in the last Olympics too and U.S. barely beat them with players like KD, Kyrie, Klay, Jimmy Buckets and PG13 on the team. Still the best team is the original 1992 Dream Team with 11/12 hall of famers.
