Pretty boring game to be honest.

The better team on the day won, but I should have stayed in bed for this yawner.

Liverpool footballers did nothing wrong but they came up against a rock-like Courtois manning the Spanish Armada. Though RM does not look invincible, they have done the unthinkable. Come back wins against PSG, Chelsea, Man City, and a 1-0 win in the finals of the CL - a glorious string of wins against mighty European powerhouses. Congratulations to experienced gaffer Carlo Ancelotti and his champion side. Well played.

A great season from Liverpool overall, but that’s 3 finals this season where they failed to score apart from penalty shoot-outs.

Ancelotti one of the all-time great managers.

All that fuss and one measly goal.

The French authorities were never going to make much of an effort for English and Spanish supporters. They expected PSG to be there.

I had forgotten about the game and saw the result on a text news service. I don't bother with European football any more, and that has nothing to do with Brexit. The European competitions (live and highlights) are not on free-to-air broadcast TV any more. The more football gets snaffled up by pay-to-watch services, the less I'll be watching or care about the results.

The big money game is on later today for a place in the premiership. It's worth £170m+ to either Huddersfield or Forest. Highlights on Quest, FtA.

Thank you to the French authorities for controlling the traveling English hooligans and preventing injury to innocent bystanders.

Mighty Liverpool have not beaten the other 3 teams in top four all season. Won 2 cups in Penalties, now lost to RM. When Klopp faces good managers, his team just can't win, period.

Well done Real.

English football breathes a sigh of relief.

I'm sure Liverpool will claim a moral victory, somewhere. As usual.

They've got their usual victim narrative up and running: Apparently the nasty French police beat their supporters and used pepper spray on them outside the stadium for absolutely no reason at all, delaying the game by 30 minutes and this unsettled the Liverpool players.
