Weightlifting probe finds corruption, doping cover-up

Olympics are losing more and more popularity in my mind. I do realize this is not only about the Olympics, but it highlights the inequality in professional sport. And I grew up loving the Olympics

What else is new ? Weightlifting has always been dominated by doping. It should have been removed as an Olympic sport decades ago. Time after time medal winners loose their medals years after the events because of retesting. The reason why it remains an Olympic sport brings us back to the corruption issue.

doping is inherently connected with weightlifting and corruption a result of that.

What next? Steroid use in body-building?
