“I crossed the street to her house and she opened the door; she stood there laughing, I felt the knife in my hand and she laughed no more.”

Looks like “Banks of the Ohio” will be on the chopping block soon. I heard Joan Baez’ rendition first in ‘76. She changed the genders of the killer and the victim - perhaps the original will be promoted?

The key words:

”I held a knife against her breast

as into my arms she pressed

She cried, ‘My love, don’t you murder me

I’m not prepared for eternity.’”

how about 'I shot the sheriff'? or is that okay because the sheriff was male (presumably). and 'Hey Joe' of course..... better ban all songs, just to be on the safe side. (⌒▽⌒)

Sure as when the Welsh Rugby also gotten caught for shooting the sheriff yet? Lol

Wednesday's announcement came with the Welsh Rugby Union still reeling from allegations of misogyny, sexism, racism and homophobia within the ranks of the governing body.

Censorship is toxic. I hope the fans sing it all through the game.
