For sure, but don't say it's going to be Nishikori's year again, please. You guys saying that every year

No one has ever said that, but people who chronically disparage Nishikori despite his achievements keep claiming that, without it ever being said. The closest thing I have seen was when you said you thought he'd beat CIlic for the US open and then go on to win many more in the years ahead. So besides you, who has been wrong?

is a dagger in your own hearts later.

You're the one with the dagger in your heart, and that's why you constantly feel a need to bash him now, right?

I think it's sad, be it Murray, Nishikori, or otherwise when people hope injury of the top players

If you want to criticize something, quote it first to show that what you are alleging isn't just made up. I'm happy to dig up your quotes price to the Nishikori - Cilic final at the US open, if you need to be reminded again! Not to mention this years Wimbledon loss for Nishikori when he withdrew due to injury and you refused to acknowledge that the injury had anything to do with it!

fxgai: "Or maybe even the younger players."

I think it's sad, be it Murray, Nishikori, or otherwise when people hope injury of the top players will result in lesser players being on top rather than them defeating the actual top players through skill. Murray has at least done that to an extent.

I don't figure he will last too long at World No. 1. The Joker will return. (although I am not particularly a fan) Let's see what happens in London at the ATP finals. The Scot will have the "home court" advantage in a way. Oh well. . . .

So, Murray, how are things in sales?

He's had a good year and indeed deserves some time in the number one spot. Can he reset his goals and go on to produce a period of dominance now? Depends how much he wants it, and perhaps how Federer and Djokovic are able to perform next year. Or maybe even the younger players. Last man to beat Murray was... ?
