Really unsportsman like, again. All Brazil can do is cry, not respect teams in their own tournament.

You obviously don't understand how football works...

I think people kind of forget that in Brazil, the fortunes of their national football team is EVERYTHING to the people of that country. The very fact that Germany routed Brazil by a score of 7-1 in Brazil hurts that country's psyche for some time to come.

Awwwh, the poor little Brazilians having a sook over a world cup that should never have been held in their country in the first place. Let's face it. It's always the same old faces in the soccer world cup. Only about 7 teams have ever won it and two of those will never challenge again. An African or Asian country WILL NEVER win a world cup.

shouldnt they be more worried about beating holland? I think if they lose that match, there is hell to pay.

Brazil needs a lesson in sportsmanship from Japan

Most Brazilians I am friends with are rooting for Germany, not because Argentina is their arch-rival in the field. The reason is that despite losing that historic game to the Germans, they can appreciate the beatiful game that Germany is playing in this World Cup. No wonder that despite the defeat, Germans are said to be the most admired team and German fans are delighted to discover that Brazilians are siding with them.
Sure, both countries have a lot to learn from each other: Brazil to be more constrict when showing emotions. Japanese to be more expansive.

I want Germany to win this. They've played the better football and given more entertainment overall and that's why. I don't go in for silly patriotism and bitterness although I always watch England more through of a sense of duty rather than actually enjoying the football they play. I know it's a cliche, but may the best team win and over the six games that has been the Germans.

will be great if Messi and Argentina do it in flamboyant style. Or if the Germans smash Argentina 8-1, that would be good. However, this WC seems to be a curse on Brazil. First Neymar is nearly paralysed, then the captain missed the Germany game, then they got annihilated by the Germans, it can only be that their biggest rivals will now go on and win it on their turf. A lot of the locals were angry about the whole funding and staging of the WC in Brazil, is this a voodoo curse that has been put on the nation of Brazil? Plus, Mick Jagger has backed the Germans to win it.

Ever since Germany lost 5-1 to England in 2001 IN Germany, well, they have been on course to rebuild their game from the foundations upwards, four, FOUR semi finals made in four consecutive World Cups... it is Germany's to lose. But I wish for a 1986 type final, not a 1990.
The defeat, the devestation wrought by Germany against Brazil, will in turn see some serious soul searching in Brazil and a reinvestment, invention of their national sport.
Vast Right-Wing Conspirator
The worst part for Brazil is having to play in a consolation match against the Dutch. It is a stupid idea to have a game to decide third place. There aren't gold/silver/bronze medals at stake, so it strikes me as a useless gesture. Plus, what if they lose again to the Dutch, a very distinct possibility? Double humiliation to wear around their necks like an albatross.
I was happy to see their fans snuffling and balling in the stands.

Does anybody really even care about 3rd place? NO!! And you are right, if Brazil does end up losing to Holland, making them in 4th place, that would even be more humiliating!

Viva Argentina!
Argentina is due it's third, I just hope it's against Germany.
Coño, Vamos, vamos, Argentina!
But, if Germany wins, well more power to you.
