Spain, Chile, Brazil, Portugal advance to 2nd round

OK- here are my picks for the final four- Brazil, Argentina, Netherlands and Portugal. I couldnt tell you who would win this thing. Have a good weekend guys- cheers.

I started watching the Brazil/Portugal game, but it was so utterly boring that I turned the TV off and decided to get a decent night's sleep. Clearly I didn't miss much.

I could not sleep night so I started to watch the BORING match! What a waste of my time! I was hoping their would be some good old rivalry, you know the Brazilians were once a Portuguese colony and maybe the Portuguese would try to make themselves feel superior again to their past colony bun NO! Nothing! Nada! Just both teams killing time 0 to bloody 0! Why? Because they both know that just by coming up with a DRAW they are still assured a spot in the next round. NO MUITO OBRIGADO!

You need to check the brackets again, that final four is not possible at this tournament :). Portugal/Argentina are ok, but the Netherlands and Brazil at best would play in the quarters. Uruguay, Ghana, SK, or the States will fill one semi-final spot... which is crazy.

Portugal vs Brazil = the most boring game in the World Cup yet. Even the Japanese commentator was getting annoyed at the crappy level of play.

The strong Portuguese team (7:0 against N. Korea) could not do anything against Brazil.

am currently watching the sth korea v uruguay match. can someone please explain why sth korea is wearing white & not their traditional red strip? i must admit i have been perplexed by some of the choices in playing strips in this world cup - none more so than the argentina v greece match, where greece wore white & argentina dark blue. surely both teams could have worn their first strips. just wondering.

I believe that is their 'away' uniform. The red one is their 'home game' uniform. Isn't it? I could be wrong.

It would be interesting to see the US in the final against, say, Portugal or Brazil.

There are a number of unforgivable words I want to say at the Korean loss, but alas. The first girl was a wicked shot by Uruguay, but the defense leading to it was so utterly disgust that it was that shot that led to Korea's demise. They literally stood about the net like they thought the shot was already called out of bounds.
