Looks like this was unintended, caused by discarded materials from the hit Putin ordered earlier. Maybe Russia's new-found spirit of cooperation will extend to them explaining where else they dropped the stuff as they escaped from the scene.

London reiteratered the stance this week as it demanded answers from Russia over how two Britons were exposed to the same Soviet-made Novichok toxin.

AFP, simply repeating a packet of lies does not make it true:

"Neither Porton Down nor the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons has any idea where the substance to which the Skripals were allegedly exposed was made. Boris Johnson’s great “coup” of obtaining a majority vote at the OPCW to expand its powers to place blame for chemical attacks, has proven rather otiose as the OPCW has no evidence on which to base any blame for Salisbury. In fact, four months on, May and Johnson’s shrill blaming of Russia remains entirely, 100% evidence free."

Totally agree. When politicians attend a sporting event they're likely not interested in held in a country that has highly likely assassinated one of your own citizens - well, protewting that by avoiding it is lame. Remember the 1936 Olympics?

Is England v Russia final a possibility?

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

England-Russia final is a possibility.

The only proof is that Russia is the only place capable of making the stuff. Apart from that, nothing much...

Is England v Russia final a possibility?

Nope, semi-final

3 ( +4 / -1 )

No proof but hey, there's a Russian in the bushes.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Any proof of Russia,s involvement or just accusations ?

No proof, just accusations.

Except it isn't. Iran, working with the OPCW, synthesised "novichoks" in 2016.

If Iran, working with the OPCW, can make "novichoks", then anyone can. Claiming that only Russia can make them is nonsense. It's simply not true.

England-Russia final is a possibility.

No it isn't, they are on the same side of the draw. If they do meet it will be in the semi-final.

If it's a boycott, UK team should not play and go home by next plane, all UK diplomats and citizens should be asked to leave Russia. But well, they should have simply not participated.

Iran, working with the OPCW, synthesised "novichoks" in 2016.

OK. But why ? Iran (or any nation beside Russia or UK) would have a reason to kill Russian traitors in UK ?

Don't just think nation. Think organization.
