This report neglected to mention the cost of the repairs to the ambulance have been met by donations from football fans. Many of the perpetrators are know known to the police due to social media. A tiny minority of idiots, the many are disgusted.

Alcohol issue.

Main difference between French and English : French enjoy alcohol (wine) first while eating whereas English are first booze driven with beer.

@Jonathan

Don’t despair. The French are an intelligent lot. I’m sure you can be taught to drink like English folk, given time... ; )

But those with an agenda to promote tar all with the same brush. That's nice about the fans chipping in to repair the ambulance; the numpties really are a tiny majority these days.

It turns out the woman photographed trashing the ambulance is Scottish.

She'd probably had a couple and thought it was an ice cream van that wouldn't serve her.

A 'tiny majority' indeed. Remarkable that some posters showing off normally their well literacy on this forum condone the stats of fan behaviour at home and overseas. Amusing really :)

I remember reading Jeremy Paxman’s book on the English where he documents centuries of pissed-up nonsense. Gin-fueled punch-ups, projectile vomiting and alcohol poisoned bodies all over the shop. The only difference seems to be lager has replaced industrial strength gin.

Had a feeling it was a Scot who trashed the ambulance.

A Scotswoman. She is the niece of the sister of the neighbour woman of Nicola Sturgeon and send to England to discredit the English in exchange for a gift certificate of IKEA :)

Need to warn soccer fans about behavior, huh?

And to think, some mock Japanese soccer fans for their classy and professional behavior during and after games.
