Dream on... the only way Chinese will be a soccer superpower is if they stop corrupting the league and the players abroad

The power struggle between East and West Asian AFC is lasted decades long, I think the FIFA should split this region into two organizations, there is no common interests but to fight each other.

By the way, the next president of China is a Football fan, the anti-corruption storm is initiated by this leader, so, we should be optimistic for China's Football League.

Having an East Asian president of the AFC can only benefit the region. Too long we've seen gift after gift of tournaments, places in competitions and funding drift West to the thoroughly undeserving and chronically underperforming teams, with the strong and successful East Asian teams ignored.

There shouldn't need to be such a dispute between the two sides of Asia. Teams should be allowed to compete on the merits of their ability, rather than giving weak and corrupt nations chances that have been earned instead by competitive nations.
