It shows the fall of baseball popularity in Japan. Best players of Japanese baseball clubs are now in Major League and people's attentions are directed to their activities over there.

The Giants losing 13 straight has nothing to do with players heading to MLB.

What does this have to do with anything? The last Giants player to go to MLB has been many years. That and baseball popularity is still the same. The only thing you might say is the Giants popularity is declining because of losing seasons and the rest of Japan being exposed to other teams in Japan on TV instead of just Giants games.

DaDude

In Japan, baseball popularity is namely that of Yomiuri Giants. They do not have star players today.

Well I hope the losing streak continues.

Sugano and others on the Giants are elite players who did well at WBC (runner up) just a few months ago. Must be something wrong with team chemistry at the moment--not a Kyojin follower so I can't pinpoint where the problem might be.

Schopenhauer: They do not have star players today.

Are you trying to be funny? They have numerous elite players. That's why it's so satisfying to see them struggle these days.

Takahashi is not cut out to be a good manager.. He tried and it doesn't seem to be working.

Is it wrong for me to take delight in the Giants' poor performance? I just can't help but like it when they lose.

Couldn't happen to a nicer team! Let's go Tigers!

So long as you are asking yourself, I'd say no. Lovingly knocking a die-hard Giants fan about this is just good fun, since they do it the other way around if you're a Tiger's fan in particular. :)

time for Takahashi to go. Replace him with Cromartie. Haha. well, he's a former Giant right?
