First of all I would expect a certain minimum of intelligence at schools and especially at universities to question it all in general, i.e. if AI ever could exist and work properly, which is -as a little hint- mathematically impossible and is also reflected by the catalog of reasons for that 'technology' having slept long time and without so much attention since its invention already in the middle of last century. Playing around with it is surely interesting and fascinating for adults, but don't expect serious or reliable results. That won't happen because it just cannot.

What schools and universities should ask, and Only one, is it a big con?
Evidence of the effect of GenAI products on educational outcomes does not yet exist because it does not exist...yet. Tech companies are misleading the public about its existence.
