Globally, 87% of respondents confirmed they would feel comfortable conducting HR meetings in a virtual space. At a country level, this was as high as 97% in India and 94% in the Philippines...

oh, wait a minute, there are no fax machines in the metaverse...

and as low as 57% in Japan.

Yep, forward thinking as usual

According to the text of the article it would be more appropriate to say that 78% of professionals SAY they are ready for the metaverse, the opinions collected are much more about the attitude of the people than the preparedness they have to deal with the new way of conducting their work. Maybe after the required network technologies and some introductory course about how to effectively use the new medium is taken then the people can actually be ready to take advantage of the metaverse.

Metaverse:

So how long before I can 'like' a corporate brand there, spy/stalk someone, 'chat' with someone 'in person' about how vaccines have 5G and governments should stop 'forced vaccinations' and, of course, watch my friends discuss how they oppose obscene pharma profits and yet hate socialism at the same time without any hint of an irony in their contradictions?

Zzzzz

A "Survey", sponsored by Mark Zuckerberg no doubt, and as such has all the credibility of a Russian Election.

Additionally, 71% of professionals can see the metaverse becoming part of existing work practices

Lemmings...they don't know it yet, but like the Blackberry, first you get a gift, then the corporation forces you to use that gift for work, even during family time.

First you get WFH (metaverse) as a gift, then you'll be at work 24/7, some are already (if you can believes what CEOs are saying about their work ethics).

Zuckerberg already selling this^ to investors, it's only a metter of time, and work in the office 'only' will be a luxury.

Where are the Supporters of Meta-verse here ?

Surely such a "non-sponsored" study with so high approval ratings, would have at leas one person support Meta-verse here ?
