Yes. Because nothing indicates the trustworthiness of news better than public opinion (surveys).

Tech companies are already filtering out news stories that they consider too conservative. They have their own corporate and political interests and they will promote them by controlling the flow of information. It’s already happening on Twitter and at Google.
