5G. That's just the right amount of G.
Penfold
did they bother testing if there are any harmful effects of this new technology? I guess not .....
Mike
Hi Penfold, good point. I have been wondering about this as well.
Why in the world did no one (in no country actually) examine the health impacts of this omnipresent technology before allowing it to be rolled out on a grand scale?
This can only have two reasons IMO:
a) Incredible naivety on the part of the responsible parties
OR
b) A massive conspiracy
p.s.: While I'd find option b) incredibly exciting, I'd still wish for option a) to be true. Albeit option a) logically seems pretty unlikely...

This is a disappointing allocation.
Japanese carriers did get sufficient low-band 5G spectrum, but not enough mmwave 5G spectrum. Each Japanese carrier got just 400 Mhz, half that of recommended 800 Mhz for mmwave 5G service.

I dont understand why only those carriers got the spectrum. I thought spectrum is available to all, like the 2.4 ghz or 5 ghz bands, which everyone can use, regardless of who makes or manages the equipment.
And is there such a thing as "5g spectrum"? i thought 5g transmissions will be going on 5ghz. And what exactly were the bands or frequencies that were newly allocated?
Belrick
Belgium already banned 5G on the basis of health and safety data available.

If you're concerned upon impact to ourselves... perhaps ask the question:
How long does it take for an Egg to cook in front of a 5G station, compared to a 4G station ?
As for the security issue - Apple's network has already been hacked..(yes!), regardless what they admit officially... So who is doing that hack ? The US organisations or the Chinese .. or Russians ?
