Of course big-cities are already well covered, but including also rural areas could be a game changer now that teleworking became a possibility for some people.

Some people I know are already considering moving out of the Tokyo metropolitan area because they are fortunate enough to be able to do their work remotely, and this is while considering quite high costs to become better connected. I can imagine much more people would do the same if the areas they would move to were already covered.

I'm glad for my fiber-optics that would cost double or triple in America for the same speeds.

Now they just have to lower costs so the less well-off can use it too.

BTW Starlink itself may be subject to a future attack from the Chinese CCP... they apparently don't like it, and wish to blow it out of the Sky.... I wonder why...

The Russians have already been trying: https://cybernews.com/security/why-cant-russians-hack-starlink-satellites/
