If it's open 24/7

Ok, whatever you say, but it sure came across like it was your wife that was the one "stealing". Why would she have to wait until you are in the shower if it all is just family money?

I don't mind - it's all family money. But if a thief somehow got ahold of my card, that's a different story.

So? My feelings are the same as Kuro, but what difference does it make if she borrows it anyway?
It's YOU that gave her the PIN number!

What could possibly go wrong?? does anyone really want to open a new bank account standing in a combini?

It will certainly cut down on fraud. My wife "borrows" my cash card frequently while I'm showering.

Are you sure this is not a big-brother move? All faces will be recorded and linked to accounts. I'm gonna guess they also go onto a server so your face is recognised throughout the network.

This is the future of banking in Japan. The big banks are trying desperately to downsize and offer new products, while 7-11 is perfectly situated to take over. They’re going to eat the big guys’ lunch.

Is it really important? Gimme my cash without fee before... That's better.
Matt Hartwell
If they offer it in Thailand, where 7/11 is ubiquitous, I would be pretty worried if I was a Thai bank, but I doubt the government would approve it.

Great! I wonder if these accounts will be able to allow access at Seven Bank's ATM's in other countries as well!
